There’s plenty of shopping discounts to be snapped up too. Each mall will have a special programme for kids during this period including puppet shows, Hello Kitty Karaoke and the Charlie and Lola show!

As part of the ‘Summer is Dubai’ promotion there will also be events across the emirate to mark Ramadan. Inspired by the spirit and values of the Holy Month, Government departments and official bodies will join forces to create activities across Dubai transforming the city into a cultural and traditional hub for all.

During Ramadan, which runs from 10th July until 9th August, the city will be alive with various cultural and traditional events and activities. Most malls will be open for late night family gatherings with shopping and dining after midnight. Ramadan (Iftar) tents are also a main attraction during the whole month, with each tent offering a different ambience and experience.

And don’t forget Eid Al-Fitr, which is a three day festival that marks the end of Ramadan and the breaking of the fast. Families exchange gifts, there are special public events arranged and more eating of delicious Arabic cuisine. The holy month of Ramadan is a truly fascinating time to visit Dubai.
